"Beastie Boy"

The expression 'puppy dog eyes' is used for the practice of enlarging ones eyes dramatically to get what it is that one desires. As to whether or not puppy dog eyes are effective, I have no idea. But looking at this weeks edition of Photo of the Week I cannot help but wonder: What would your life look like if you were born with puppy dog eyes?

TIME-LAPSE VIDEOS

A new technique added to the bag of tricks. A combination of photography and cinematography called time-lapse, which is a sequence of photographs put together to make a 'video'.

#1 [03|04|2013]
The idea was to capture sunrise over the Corcovado mountain in Rio de Janeiro. Well, neither the mountain nor the Crist statue on top of it showed up, but with the clouds passing by it did give a dramatic display of a sunless start on a dreary summer day. Judge for yourself:

Putting several together to create a composition and a story: the story of a city waking up and starting a new day.
