What an incredibly marvelous fuck-up (pardon my French).
All my life I have lived in that plastered brick beehive of an ant-heap.
All my life I have loved going to the country – the open space, wonderful skies, the peace, the quiet.Day after dreary day on campus, generation of students after generation of students, year after year... at one point it seemed as if all I did was long for that moment I could break away from it all and seek my refuge in the country.

But now that I finally live here, I feel like I am shrinking.
I have to figure out a way to get back to the city.
A Master's degree in mechanical engineering, yet unable to engineer my own life.

Why, why does everything I long for, turn out to be nothing that I actually need?
